Trevi fountain

Trevi Fountain is one of the symbols of Rome, a magical and romantic place famous for its architectural beauty and for the legend of the coin.
The original legend says that if you throw a coin into the fountain – with your back to the fountain, throwing the coin with your right hand over your left shoulder – that will ensure a return to Rome.
Easy to reach on foot , crossing Via del Tritone, Trevi Fountain is known all over the world for being the movie set of one of the most famous and loved movie in history, “La dolce vita” by Federico Fellini, starring Anita Ekberg who invites a charming Marcello Mastroianni to follow her for a bath in the fountain.

Via Vittorio Veneto, best known as Via Veneto, is located just a few minutes walking from our B&B; It’s a main street that starts from Piazza Barberini and leads to Porta Pinciana. Its fame is due to the movie “La Dolce Vita” by Fellini and it was the heart of social life in the 1950s and 1960s.
So thanks both to this sweet and luxurious way of living in Via Veneto and to the 1960s economic boom, this was the location where the movie productors, Hollywood and Cinecittà best known actors and paparazzi, spend their days across the great hotels and fashionable nightclubs.

Villa Borghese

Villa Borghese is one of the largest green areas of Rome , opened along the Aurelian walls , in the heart of the historic center of the capital . Commissioned by Cardinal Scipione Borghese , it was turned into a neo-classical style park by Christopher Unterberger , Antonio and Mario Asprucci hundred years later,and in 1827 was further adorned by Luigi Canina with fountains and monuments. The entrance of Villa Borghese , is only 5 minutes walk from our Good Life Suites.

The Flavian Amphitheater , known as the Colosseum , is an extraordinary work in the historic center of Rome at the end of Via dei Fori Imperiali , which has always been the most famous and visited amphitheater in the world . Distance from our house : 2.6 km.

Located few minutes away from our guesthouse, in Via Veneto, you can find the historic Hard Rock Cafe, a legend all over the world. Perfect to taste hamburgers, starters, and fry food in full american syle or sip delicious cocktails.

Shopping guide

Rome is not just history, culture, art and religion.
Born as the capital of high Fashion, it represents one of the greatest cities for shopping today.
The very well known shops as well as the recent ones cohexist in the historic centre of the Capital, especially in the famous Tridente, Via del corso, Via del Babuino and via di Ripetta, where you can find both boutiques of famous italian stylist like Valentino, Slavatore Ferragamo, Gucci , Prada and the most famous and modern megastores like Zara, h&M, intimissimi.
From this area you can reach the well-known Via Dei condotti, surrounded by famous jewellries. But to the way to Piazza Venezia, you can also stop to the gallery”Alberto Sordi” nevralgic shopping centre where you can find thousands of different shops.
Other landmark for shopping addicted is Via Cola di Rienzo, located between Piazza del popolo and Vatican Museums.
